About Me

Hi, I am Daria, a graphic designer and artist.Since childhood, I have found myself in art. It became my source of comfort, my way of expressing myself and a place where I could step away from reality and enter the world of my own ideas. After studying the basics of painting, drawing, anatomy, color theory, composition and art history, I decided to move from fine art into graphic design. I was drawn to design because it gave me the posibility to turn ideas into something real, what we're using and seeing everyday.Today I work with branding, illustration and poster design, while also creating personal artworks and commissioned pieces. I like projects where I can combine visual clarity with emotion, and where an idea can grow into a form that feels personal, intentional and alive.Besides graphic design and illustration, I also paint with oil. In this practice, I find my comfort again and return to the carefree time of art school.

Oil Painting

The project “Oil Painting” is dedicated to my search for myself and for my own style in painting. At one point, oil painting became my source of comfort, a way to give my creativity a physical form and return to the joy of creating something by hand.

"Still Life with Figs"

[50×50 cm]

My first oil painting, “Still Life with Figs,” was created for the home of someone very dear to me. The sunny island of Ugljan, with its warm atmosphere and abundant fig harvests, stayed so deeply in my memory that it immediately became the theme of this work.

"Still Life with Daffodils"

[30×40 cm]

“Still Life with Daffodils” was painted as a gift for a jubilee celebration. Since this person had a close connection to art herself, I wanted to create something more personal than an ordinary material gift.

"Still Life with a Violin"

[40×30 cm]

“Still Life with a Violin” was painted for a person whose life is inseparable from music. As a cellist, she inspired me to create a still life connected to her world and to the work that has shaped her life.

"Still Life with Pomegranates"

[25×25 cm]

Timeline

The completion time depends on the canvas size, complexity, drying time, queue and personal circumstances.Oil paintings usually take longer than digital work because the material needs time to dry properly. If any delay happens, I will inform the client as soon as possible.

Final Artwork

The client receives the original oil painting on canvas.Digital photos of the finished work may also be provided for personal use or preview purposes. Please note that colors may look slightly different in photos due to lighting, screen settings and the physical texture of oil paint.

Cancellation and Refunds

If the project is cancelled before the work begins, the conditions are discussed individually. If the painting is cancelled after materials have been purchased or the work has already started, the advance payment is not refundable. After the painting is finished and approved, refunds are not available, because the artwork is handmade and created specifically for the client.
